ButeykoInternational.com was set up in 2005 as
a training clinic for prospective practitioners. Its main aim is
to spread the word about this unique natural therapy that is dramatically
changing asthmatics lives across the world.
This Buteyko therapy is easy to learn, highly effective and is completely
devoid of side effects. Buteyko has formed
the basis of training modules for doctors in Russia and is a common
treatment for asthma and many common respiratory conditions, such as
bronchitis, bronchiectasis, emphysema, chronic fatigue, insomnia
and sinusitis.
Patrick McKeown
Patrick McKeown is a graduate of Trinity College and the
Buteyko Breathing Clinic® of Moscow. Patrick was a chronic asthmatic for most
of his life. By correcting his breathing volume, he freed himself from his
asthma condition. He is one of a few Western Buteyko experts
who is directly authorised and accredited by the Late Professor Buteyko
to teach this method.
Patrick's Buteyko training in Moscow has been complemented by his own research, by consulting
with asthma specialists from different parts of the world, and by his experience
of working with asthma, bronchitis, bronchiectasis and emphysema patients from all over at clinics that he now conducts.
Patrick has written 3 books on the Buteyko method, including Asthma Free Naturally which will be published by Conari Press and available throughout the USA from September 2008. He is based in Ireland where he conducts the renowned AsthmaCare clinics. (www.asthmacare.ie)
